Full Background

Of course Caesar is not his real name.

Charles, Steven, Maurice, and Koba are just some of his numerous aliases. He has gone by so many names over the years that he can no longer remember the name his parents gave him. As a child, Caesar showed a great talent for writting, and at the age of six he was able to imitate his father's handwriting to write notes for getting out of school. He sometimes even imitated his teachers' handwriting to request "textbook fees" from his parents. In the yar he graduated from high school, his father's company ran into financial problems. In an attempt to help, he imitated the nadwriting of the district councilman to write a letter of guarantee to the bank. The sizable loan that resulted saved the company from bankruptcy, and the incident has remained undiscovered until today. Caesar felt like he had struck gold, and embarked on a criminal career of forging checks.

His forgery skills allowed him to make millions by cashing fake checks. However, the intelligence chimp did not let his superficial success get to his head. He methodically invested the money in the city's organized crime industries. A few years later, he became the mastermind behind the large and small criminal organiztion in North Point.

Protected by the criminal underworld and with the police in his pocket, Caesar's criminal empire seemed indestructible. That was until the appearance of federal agent Johnny the Hound. He was a famous incorruptible detective. With no relatives or friends, he could not be bought, nor did he fear threats of violence. His arrival kicked off a protracted game of cat and mouse. Caesar could sometimes use information from his spies to send Johnny running around in circles, but was sometimes forced to change his name when the dogged detective got too close. The two rivals carried on this game for many years, but the result was always a stalemate. However, one night, Caesar received a phone call out of the blue: "Ahem, good evening. It's Johnny."

It seemed that Caesar could not hide forever. With his true identity now exposed, he could no longer rely on his aliases to weasel his way out of trouble. But Johnny gave him a choice: flee the country like a coward, or come and face him like a man.

Perhaps he did not want to admit defeat, or perhaps he was too eager to defeat his nemesis in person, but Caesar acted completely out of character and accepted Johnny's invitation. The showdown took place at an old airport, and both of them came alone, as promised. Several shots later, Caesar was in cuffs and Johnny was seriously wounded. This is how the story ends, with both men winners but also losers.

Befriended

A chimp named Caesar. As the boss of the Black Claw Gang, he controls the underground finances for the entire prison. He prefers to use elaborate calculations to manipulate his opponents rather than fighting for power. You may need to keep your guard up against him more than anyone else in the whole prison.
